“My bike (which my husband now uses) and baby seat were stolen on Guys Fawkes night! It was nicked from Haslett St (the Waima St footbridge end), close to the North Western cycleway. My husband and son are distraught and shocked. I am angry and I would love people to help us find it. It’s irreplaceable.
“The bike was my FIRST EVER bike having only learnt to ride at the mature age of 26. The baby seat was not only my husband and son’s mode of transport to day care it was a fun and healthy way for us as a family to explore Auckland. Please, if you help me out by posting this to see if any information about our bike comes up, I would be forever indebted.
“Description: The bike is a Gary Fisher mountain bike, black, with flames on the middle bar, rusty but well loved. The Bike seat is brand new, grey plastic mould with red padding and foot rests with red straps.”
