Well, have I got news for you!
I went up to T. White’s Bikes today to pick up the tricycle (confused? read all about it) and came upon Tim with an ‘architect’ in the room next door!
Not one to miss a bit of ‘curtain twitching’, I did more investigation and discovered that there is soon to be a new addition to the T.White’s household …. T. White’s EVERYDAY Bikes!
Grand plans are a foot (and there were mentions of ‘chandeliers’) to convert the old Next Bikes space next door into more bike shop. This side will be dedicated to everyday/transport bikes and the Second Hand Bike Shop will also move into this space leaving more room for drinking downstairs! It’s totally a win/win!
Obviously, the bikes are a little nervous, at the moment, but they send in a foot soldier every now and then to check on progress.
The other bikes huddle patiently next door – the Schwinn, Charge and Masi bikes (among others) will be making the move in mid-February and will be joined by all manner of gorgeous baskets, panniers, lights and bikelicious goodies!
There’ll be a party as well, so watch this space!
