Auckland Council should take note of this one … It certainly beats those totally lame ‘breakfasts’

    • Great video – thanks for sharing. As you say lots of great ideas there to learn from.
It's funny how advertising always loves to use bikes (especially the slow kind) in their campaigns but fails when it comes to promoting cycling as such. Lets hope we see a more positive approach that doesn't just tell us how dangerous it is or pat us on the back for being so brave.

    • That would be nice! And I bet they dont have broken glass, stormwater grates and sunken manhole covers in their cycle lanes either!
      Love the Chrome Domes too!

    • Great film, I want in NOW

I am always quite astounded when I talk to AT staff who dont engage in great blogs such as this one and Copenhagen/Auckland cyclechic. Perhaps its the same as me, a council arborist never reading blogs about my "work" at home and feeling too much web surfing at work is not on (especialy after all my cycle blogging!)

Maybee we cycle advocates should aproach AT and guide senior managers to be actively encouraging staff to cycle blog. What Unity has put up here is pure gold in terms of cycle campaigns. Its well in ATs intrest.

Perhaps though, I underestimate just how many commited, cycle aware staff AT has. As an experimant If you are one of those oh so valuable people, please leave a quick afirmation comment.

Call it a Christmas message of good will to all us advocates helping you on the outside.

If you are out there, within the wheels of AT, doing your bit, no matter how small. Thanks and happy Christmas to you
