Should old people run behind cars?

This is a fun video from Hungary …

I don’t speak Hungarian but I get most of what’s going on … However, I am totally stumped by why they are towing old people behind their cars later on in the video. Ideas anyone?

    • Just a guess ( I don't speak Hungarian either), but maybe they're conveying the idea that everybody who drives ropes everybody else along for the ride, whether they want it or not.

    • I understand that Hungary has experienced rapid growth in cycling numbers in a very short space of time. Promotions like this one are sure to help. Positive, humourous. This is what cycling in Auckland needs.

    • This is an cool description of why cars are responsible for 70 % of air pollution. It is from the perspective of a little girl and how she sees the World around her.
For example, she thought that people open the windows of their houses to make the air cleaner outside, so the birds can live a healthy life. So if we all open our windows, we clear the air all around.
The elderly were grandpa and grandma protesting against pollution alongside the dog.
P.S. Big thank you to my colleague Tibi for providing this explanation.
