That was a pretty surreal week what with the all the seismic activity down south. Hopefully everyone’s friends and family in Canterbury are in good spirits.
- There’s a thread at Vorb about the road damage in Canterbury.
- Portland built its entire 300-mile network of bike ways for the cost of a single mile of urban freeway. Ya, I know!
- Summer’s coming (said in a hopeful whisper) and I would totally get this caravan bike trailer which includes a bed and a small kitchen.
- Of course, you can just throw some gear on the back of your bike rack and just go. Here’s how Dottie from LGRAB did it.
- Remember the Puma cargo bike from last week? Mikael test-rode one around Copenhagen.
- Definitely have done the rinse cycle quite a lot this winter.

- These clipless pedal adaptors are also another winner at Eurobike. Finally, you can ride a road bike and wear any shoe you like. But maybe not jandals.
- Tsk tsk. Bad boy Jude Law, scofflaw cyclist.
- Driving is why you’re fat: an infographic of awesome proportions.
- Apropos of the above. I was unfit to the point of nearly passing out by the side of Khyber Pass Rd when I rode mine for the first time in 12 years.
- Okay, so I have to make a pilgrimage to burning Man one day.
- Check out Sydney’s coolest bike-inspired hangouts
- Nice tip on cleaning nasty dirty chains.
- A sneak peek at the new Breezer Uptown Infinity commuter bicycle. I dig the translucent full chain casing
