The Cycling in Auckland Flickr group is now up and running.
The what?
In a nutshell: it’s a photo collection of bicycles and cyclists in Auckland.
The long version: to curate a visual map of Auckland showing bike/cyclist-spotting, share cycle infrastructure (good or bad), the thing of beauty you experienced on your ride and the local bike shops. Anything cycle-related is welcome, as long as it’s in Auckland.
How to get involved
If you have been uploading photos to Flickr, you probably have a few cycling-related snaps in your collection already. All you need to do is to add them to the pool. And geotag them if you don’t mind—otherwise they won’t appear on the map.
If you’re not a Flickr user yet, membership is free! Sign up, start uploading a few photos and flick them to the pool.
